Ignore the haters. Hayden Christensen did a great job. He’s way cooler than Luke was in episode IV. And the music is incredible!!!!! Enjoy!
This movie is awesome!!!!! The score is GORGEOUS, love scenes are BEAUTIFUL, fight scenes are EPIC!!!!! Don’t pay attention to the bad reviews. WATCH IT. This is the best Star Wars movie ever made, I think Hayden did a good job as ani
This and Episode 3 are memorable, dont sleep. Everyone hating is mad that the Disney trilogy caught major shade.
Darth Vader Lord Of The Sith
What a good story!
even though there are the cringy parts overall it is a quality movie that brings much depth into the story
“It’s a piece of junk!” -Luke Skywalker
This movie is the worst of them all. From the bad acting, to the over use of SGI, this movie is all around terrible. The only thing I enjoyed is the Jango fett verses obi-wan scene.
This isn’t my fave. But it isn’t atrocious either.
I actually think the acting was good.
If you want bad acting go watch Solo.
Some of the lines are just useless (I don’t like sand) but it’s not as bad as people say.
I love Dooku’s character! He’s a different kind of Sith; Seemingly just a cold count at first, but then we find out he is evil.
I DO get annoyed with this scene [SPOILERS BE AWARE]
Jango Fett was standing next to Dooku right? How did they not figure out the whole “Evil Clone” thing??
Ignore the hate! It’s not great, but it’s not as bad as VII, VIII, or IX
Look folks, the movies ok. There are some parts that are just crap, yet the action scenes, particularly Geonosis and Kamino, are awesome. Skip everything with Anakin and padme.
But not great. It’s good, in my opinion. But I’m a prequel guy, so I don’t know. The best part of the movie is the Obi Wan and Jango Fett Plot, and the action on Geonosis is pretty cool.
Ok. I grew up to Sequels, 7, 8, and 9. And I never loved the prequels. Revenge Of The Sith has been my favorite for a long time and it forever be. But I just never enjoyed Attack Of The Clones. I want to like it because there’s some pretty good scenes like Obi-Wan Vs. Jango Fett, Battle Of Geonosis, and Dooku Vs. Anakin and Obi-Wan. But it just needs to be less boring so that it could be a 3-star or higher. I don’t like the Anakin/Padme love story because it’s cringe. Battle Of Geonosis carries it. The beginning chase in Coroscont is cool. I like most of the characters. Anakin was Weird. Obi-Wan was just a casual Obi-Wan. Long hair, fake beard, and didn’t buy death sticks. The beginning is solid but most of it is a big fat meh. Boring, but mostly/overall it’s definitely a good movie. Top 6? Probably. Best Of Prequels? Nope. Never. EVER! Decent Movie? Of course!
One of the worst films ever made. There are no arguments that can be made against that statement. Avoid “Attack of the Clones” at all cost. Episode III just throws away most of what happens anyway. There’s literally no reason to watch this movie.
Okay, Jango is cool. Obi is cool. Doodoo is cool. Padmè is uhhh... Okay. Mace is cool. Yoda was cool. The battles and fights were cool. And Threepio and Artoo were funny. (“DIE JEDI DOGS!” 😂)Too bad that made up like 15% of the whole movie. I feel bad for Hayden and Portman for having to cope with Lucas’ crap.
I mean... “I dOn’t LiK3 sAnD.” What? I’m sorry. Lucas had the opportunity to make this good. No. GREAT. (Did I mention Jango Fett?) But no... He spent 85% on the sappy romance crap. 🤮 BTW, Did I mention jar jar was in it? Rly Padmé? Y u give ur senator position to that idiot? GOD!
In conclusion I will just add this quote:
“This is a load of crappy crap crap.”-Bart Simpson.
The make Skywalker seem so cringy and a total creep. The CGI is still so god awful they should’ve continue with puppets like the original. The dialog is terrible and reads like a 10yr wrote it.
Attack of the Clones missed the mark with so many bad visuals and descent storytelling nah this one is solid. Bad acting and characters that we care about this is not a star wars movie.
This is honestly a much better movie than many people make it out to be, but certainly not even the best Prequel. This movie is filled with imagination, taking many elements of classic sci-fi and converting it into a modern Star Wars film in an ingenious and timeless way—the set pieces, although mostly digital, are made with great care and ingenuity on George Lucas’s part. Not everyone can come up with several completely original worlds and many more aliens, ships, and villains far far away. I loved the movie in this aspect. However, despite the best efforts of Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi) to hold the movie together in terms of acting, this movie suffers from a poorly cast Hayden Christensen (Anakin Skywalker) who, despite having a couple of good emotional moments, was a poor actor for the job. Natalie Portman (Padme Amidala) desperately tries to work with George Lucas’s perception of romance, and her character duly suffers for it, making a great actor’s talent lost on this movie. My thought is that George Lucas tried to make this romance seem as much as possible like Romeo and Juliet, which, if you look at individual moments in both love stories, both are astoundingly absurd (although R and J did not suffer from poor dialogue as did AOTC). The late Christopher Lee was both critically underused and critically unconvincing... He reminds me of a doctor he played in another movie during this film.
However, not all is lost. The action sequences in this movie are stunningly executed. Most people do not care for the duel at the end of the movie but I personally like both parts of it. This movie also has great foreshadowing in it, of Palpatine’s rise to power and of a certain familiar super-weapon. The clones themselves seem so much like stormtroopers, and you already begin to see the fall of the Jedi begin to take shape.
I love many, many aspects of this movie; there was great action, great imagination, and great foreshadowing, and, in some sequences (NOT the romance) great emotion. However, the acting is almost always inexcusably bad.
This movie was a major improvement over the Phantom Menace, and—let’s just put this in perspective. Is this a bad Star Wars movie? Perhaps. But is it a bad MOVIE? No. Most summer blockbusters these days earn less than 66 percent on RT. It is completely watchable, and, if you can get past Anakin’s bad acting, a fun movie to watch.
movie lover 2011
But no Darth maul
Not amazing but not terrible
It may be a bit lovey dovey, but it is amazing. This is the epic before the Order 66: when we know something is going on yet we have no clue who is causing. We think it is Count Dooku, when it has been under our noses this entire time...
Thank you for crafting this so well!
Not a favorite of the Star Wars franchise. I don’t know whether it’s the horrible and cheesy dialogue or the lack of chemistry between the actors playing Annakin and Padme? The redeeming qualities are definitely the battle between Obi Wan and Jango Fett and Yoda and Count Dooku, as well as the battle in the Geonosis arena. As in all Star movies, and in all fairness, these movies are not meant to be taken seriously, as they are, at their heart, a kids movie and for the kid in all of us. The Phantom Menace introduces you to a very young Anakin Skywalker. Attack of the Clone Wars gives us an arrogant, cocky, confused teenage Anakin, who is padawan Jedi in training. The payoff will be in Revenge of the Sith.
That's the only thing wrong with this. The thing with Anakin and Padmé is hilariously bad, and we can't forget the "I don't like sand..." scene. However, I felt like this was more of an Obi-Wan adventure film, and that is where the film is good. Cound Dooku and the Separatist army were an interesting group of the dark side, and the final battle was kinda cool. However, the coolest part was in fact Jango and Boba Fett. Both actors are SUPER nice in real life, and the dynamic and action they bring is awesome. Jango's ability to fight Kenobi was what lead me to appreciate Boba Fett and all other mandalorians WAY more than ever before. They're just simple men trying to make their way in the universe.
Stupid film, but hey, I got into the mandalorians afterward. Fine by me.
I would give this a one-star review. It’s that bad. But John Williams’ music and the action are better than all other aspects of this film. It’s the only bright spot. Terrible dialogue, unnecessary romance and horrendous acting from Christensen and Portman. The plot is complex yet the movie is just boring, much like its predecessor.
The action and fight scenes in this film are amazing and I watch them over and over again. However, the love scenes were way too...romantic. Anakin’s only good moments in the film for me were the bounty hunter chase, the lightsaber duel, and the droid factory scene. I LOVE Anakin in The Clone Wars, but only a couple of times in this film did I feel like they were remotely the same character. Padmè and her actor were brilliant, and Obi-Wan was amazing as always. The film is good, but with better romance it’d be amazing.
The visual effects, along with the original and interesting plot, makes this film a good continuation of the prequel trilogy, even though the script is still mediocre.
Honestly, this one is my least favorite, but is it bad? Absolutely not!!!!
Gives us two awesome bounty hunters! Jango Fett, and Zam Wesell! Battle of Geanosis is sick! Mace Windu is super cool! Has a sad, emotional way of showing the start of Anikan’s turn to The Dark Side! Makes Yoda look awesome! Sets up The Clone Wars! Has tons of cool creatures! And gives us that one line everyone uses for memes!
“Impossible! Perhaps the archives are incomplete.”
Overall great, like every other Star Wars movie! INCLUDING
THE LAST JEDI
Will say a good Star Wars film but my favorite part was jango fett
Al Tilley The Bum
I don’t get why so many people are against the prequel trilogy. Hayden Christensen did a great job as Anakin Skywalker. Ewan McGregor was great as Obi Wan Kenobi like he was in Phantom Menace. Parts of it are a little cheesy but I still liked it. Worth a watch for every Star Wars fan.
From the man who created some of your fondest childhood memories... then took a huge dump on them... comes the prequel sequel that proved “Phantom Menace” wasn’t an accident.
Once again, the Republic is in turmoil. Watch as the chin-stroking Jedi are pulled into a war between a completely disposable droid army and a completely disposable clone army.
Seriously. There’s no reason to get emotionally involved in any of this crap.
Experience an awkward forced love story as solace as the computer it was made in, with so many visual effects, the filmmakers didn’t have any time left over for things like realistic choreography, realistic dialogue, or realistic Hayden Christensen acting.
This movie was a great addition to the Skywalker Saga answering a tone of questions I had for years...it’s just as good as it was when I saw it in theaters the special effects haven’t aged at all I would always recommend Star Wars to anyone who hasn’t seen it I remember when I first saw A New Hope as a kid on Laser Disk and have been in love with the movies ever since
i love the star wars prequels
I love everything about the prequels Cody anikan
Obi wan general grievous count dooku and even
Jar jar I hope they are around for many more
The best start wars prequel in my opinion. It introduces my favorite bounty hunter and the clone troopers. Truly a lovely movie
Liam scott D @ me .com
It was a silly name for people to call it attack of the clones
This movie was the best love story how a Jedi and a senator gets married
With all things considered this movie was better than the phantom menace
While in the Star Wars movies universe, it all starts with Phantom Menace, for me the real story arch starts here. It’s where the real action and interesting story begins.
There's too much complaining from Anakin.
The acting is bad, cgi is bad, and story is predictable and mind-numbing-ly stupid.
Star Wars attack of the clones is better than the phantom menace.the fight scenes are cool but the dialogue is not great I’m gonna give attack of the clones a.B-and a 7/10
This movie is a lot better than Phantom Menace. This one is not that good but better than Phantom Menace. The weak romance scenes don’t really do much though.
It’s the prequels, what do you expect
It was better than "The Phantom Menace" but not as good as the original trilogy or The Force Awakens.
This movie is so good I can't stop watching it, but I do wish it didn't have soooo much love other than that it was splendid. Nicely directed and greatly written!✅✅✅✅😀😀😀😀👍👍👍👍👍😁😁😁😁😊😊😊
